Awards and Recognition
We are a proud member of the West Bengal Hosiery Association and are a very active participant in all its proceedings. Our longest-standing recognition, however, comes from the trade: retailers and distributors who have stocked our winter innerwear season after season for decades.
Letter from the Managing Director
West Bengal Hosiery Industries has been a pioneer in winter innerwear production since the independence of our nation. The beauty in our product is that we have maintained our quality for so many years and made sure that our consumer can confidently purchase our product and have a comfortable, light and high-utility innerwear that protects them from the cold in winters and cools them in the heat in summers.
The garment space in India still has a lot of scope for technological adaptation, and post GST we will see a transition of a lot of players moving from the informal market to the formal market. This is a good sign, as there will be a level playing field for all the manufacturers in the market and there won’t be any unfair competition between the taxpayers and the non-taxpayers.
We have a strong vision and a massive expansion strategy in place. We are exploring international markets as well, especially for our winter production, and believe that we are strongly contributing to the Make in India dream.

Infrastructure
We have 3 units where in-house production for both winter and summer garments takes place. Staying ahead of the times is something we constantly strive for; hence, we maintain the highest level of technology in our manufacturing units.
